We will book a hotel in the city for this night and meet for an early dinner together in a local restaurant

Day 2: [Monday 4th May] Sightseeing
Meet in hotel lobby at 10:30 am.
Istanbul is the only city in the world built on two continents. We will have a welcome meeting before we
head off to explore the historic centre of Istanbul. It is a magnificent city, full of history, beauty and a real
blend of cultures. We will wander down the Hippodrome, the scene of ancient chariot races and the centre of Byzantine civic life. We will visit the elegant Sultanahmet Mosque, known as the blue mosque due to its magnificent interior decoration of Iznik tiles. After this we will visit the Underground Cistern, built in 532 a.d. Day 3: [Tuesday 5th May] - Golf Day
We will travel out of the city to play 18 holes at the Kemer Golf and Country Club. The championship
course opened in 1995 and is located in the hills of Belgrade forest, a challenging short but tight beautiful course. It is 6,300 m in length and plays to a par of 73. www.kg-cc.com [BD] * lunch extra
Day 4: [Wednesday 6th May] Istanbul sightseeing
Today we will visit the great palace of the Ottoman sultans [Topkapi Palace]. Here you will appreciate the incredible wealth of the Ottoman Empire. We will tour through the many courts and visit the fascinating harem. We will also visit the Aya Sofia Museum, a church built in the 4th century. The walls are decorated with stunning Byzantine mosaics. After this you will have free time to continue walking in this lovely area of Istanbul [BD] * lunch extra
Day 5: [Thursday 7th May] Istanbul:
Extra Golf Day if desired or free day for more sightseeing. Exploring the Bazaars, Galata tower & Bosphorus etc. [BD] *lunch extra
Day 6: [Friday 8th May] Fly to Antalya and transfer to our coastal resort hotel in Belek on the Turkish Riviera.
This area has been developed as Turkey’s prime golfing destination with selection of magnificent world class courses. We will stay at an ALL INCLUSIVE resort in Belek. It is a very large resort with great facilities including large pool areas, a gym and a spa and wellness centre and many organised daily activities. Once settled we will have an orientation talk about the hotel facilities and details of the week ahead. [BD] lunch extra
Day 7: [Saturday 9th May] Golf Day.
Today is our first golf day in Belek. This region is a popular with golf lovers due to the many courses in the same area. There is a continuous 20km+ stretch of resorts and golf courses and today we tee off at the Titanic Golf course. Opened in 1997, the 27 hole course has 8 lakes and 70 bunkers and rated in the top 15 Designed by Hawtree of England it has every type of golfing challenge with both parkland and links holes. www.titanicgolfclub.com [BLD]
Day 8: [Sunday 10th May] Golf Day
The original 18 hole course at the National Golf Club, designed by Feherty and Jones was opened in 1994 and the courses are called Irmak and Tuna. Carved through a forest of eucalyptus and pine trees with the back-drop of the snow-capped Taurus mountains and an abundance of natural lakes, the National tests all abilities of players. In 2016 another 9 holes were open and these are called Ada.
Day 9: [Monday 11th May] Golf Day
Today we will play at Carya golf course. It is the first class heath land style golf course built on the
Mediterranean coast. Designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb it is 18 hole, 6571m and par 72.
Each hole offers variety and challenges. A tactical approach is required and finding the correct way to play the fairways is often more important than distance off the tee. This course is ranked 1st in Turkey and 40th in Europe and has hosted the PGA European tour - Turkish Airlines Open for the last 3 years.
Day 10: [Tuesday 12th May] Sightseeing
Today we will spend some time in the old centre of Antalya, called Kaleici. Antalya Old Town consists
of restored wooden houses from Ottoman Period. The historic harbour area is surrounded by ancient city walls dating 2C AD and is a lovely place to wander around. There will be some time for shopping also and we can take a short boat trip in the harbour area [BLD]
Day 11: [Wednesday 13th May] Sightseeing
Today we will visit more historic sites in the area. We will visit Aspendos, one of the best preserved
Amphitheatres of the Roman era in the world. We will travel to Perge ancient city: It is the best preserved ancient Roman city around Antalya with an ancient Greco-Roman theatre, stadium, Roman baths and agora. [BLD]
Day 12: [Thursday 14th May] Golf day
Today we play at the Sultan course at Antalya Golf club. This course was selected to host the 2012 World Amateur Team Championship. The par 71, 6477m course presents a combination of challenges to test both high and low handicappers. Designed by European Golf design and David Jones in the late 1990s, the course is on undulating and has many ponds and water features. This course is ranked 4th in Turkey and 78th Europe. http://agc.com.tr [BLD]
Day 13: [Friday 15th May] Golf day
The Cornelia Golf club is a Faldo designed course it is full of challenges. Again set in a pine forest it has a variety of holes. It is ranked the 2nd best course in Turkey and number 57 in Europe.
Day 14: [Saturday 16th May] Golf Day
Montogomerie Maxx Royal is one of the largest and most ambitious golf facilities and is holding the
European PGA tour -Turkish Open in Oct 2019. With challenging and undulating fairways and Scottish style bunkers this is one of the most challenging courses in Belek.
Day 15: [Sunday 17th May] Transfer to Istanbul
We fly back to Istanbul after breakfast. You can fly straight home on flights after 1 pm or we can book you extra days in Istanbul or Antalya. [B]
